When is Prom?
Prom is Saturday, May 1st from 7:30-10:30 at Wolf Lakes. All students will need to be checked-in by 8:30 and will be able to leave after 10:00 pm. Once students have left the venue they will not be readmitted.
Ticket Information:
We are expecting our total available tickets to be limited and are waiting to receive a final cap from the venue. Tickets will go on sale for Seniors only beginning this Wednesday, April 14th at 12:50 from the Activities Office. Juniors will be able to begin purchasing tickets on Monday, April 19th. Tickets will be $50 per person. Tickets are cash or check only and checks should be made out to Clovis Unified School District (please do not abbreviate to CUSD). Tickets will get you entrance into the dance and a dessert at the venue. Please note: Dinner is not being provided at Prom this year. In order to purchase a ticket, you must have a completed contract for both participants. This contract is attached to this email and can be found on our website at cnec.cusd.com. If you are bringing a guest from another school, please see the below guidelines.
Guests:
We will be allowing guests from other schools to attend Prom provided they meet the eligibility requirements per the guest contract. Guest contracts do not need to be turned in at the time of ticket purchased but must be turned in at the time of COVID test/vaccination verification. If a guest contract is not turned in at that time, your guest will not be able to attend. The guest contract is attached to this email and available on our website at cnec.cusd.com.
Health and Safety Protocols:
All attendees will be required to either:
A.) Provide proof of full vaccination (Pfizer or Moderna, both shots; Johnson & Johnson one shot) administered at least two weeks prior to May 1st (last day to receive second dose/single J&J dose to qualify is this Saturday, April 17th)
B.) Receive a negative COVID test dated no more than 72 hours prior to May 1st. Clovis North is hoping to provide the rapid Antigen tests for all participants and times will be scheduled for students to get tested in the days leading up to Prom.
Additionally, all students will be required to wear a mask while at Prom except while eating or drinking. Dancing will be allowed ?? In the event that a student is not able to produce a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination after purchase of a ticket, the full ticket price will be refunded (refunds may take a few days to process).
We are looking forward to a great Prom this year. Please let me know if you have any questions.
