The Clovis North Educational Instrumental Music Department consists of a variety of performing experiences for students at all grade and ability levels including: an award winning Marching Band that performs at local and statewide events, two high school Concert Bands at the beginning and advanced levels, high school String Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra that includes students in grades 7 - 12, Jazz Ensembles, three middle school Concert Bands at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, three middle school String Ensembles, Winter Percussion Ensembles, Winter Color Guard, and Chamber Ensembles.
Our music faculty includes many educators who are highly qualified with a breadth of experience and knowledge. They include, David Lesser, David Gabrielson, Jose Vargas, Arthur Howansky, and Shawn Glyde.

The Granite Ridge Choirs, conducted by Jennifer Appleby, and the Clovis North Choirs, conducted by Heather Bishop provide a variety of opportunities for students to participate in choir from beginning through advanced levels. Granite Ridge offers a Soprano/Alto Choir, Tenor/Bass Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Treble Clef Choir. Clovis North offers a Soprano/Alto Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and a Women's Chorale.

The CNEC Theatre Arts program, taught and directed by Joel Abels and Cody Ashford, offers students an opportunity to experience theatre arts whether they are beginners or advanced students. The program offers several shows each year in which students can audition and participate along with courses that provide students opportunities to explore theatre arts. At Granite Ridge, students may participate in Beginning or Advanced Drama. Any seventh or eighth grader may take Beginning Drama. Beginning Drama is a prerequisite to enter Advanced Drama. At Clovis North, students may choose from Drama 1, Drama 2, Drama 3, Drama 4, or Stagecraft. Drama 1 is open to all students interested. Drama 2, 3, 4, and Stagecraft require teacher recommendation for placement.
